Actually, what brings me back from years of virtual slumber is an unfortunate e-mail from my hosting service notifying me that its security/data had been compromised. So, among other things, I had to track down my old logins and passwords for the service and this weblog and change them.
It is the first time I have logged into this site in years . . . and it feels surprisingly good.
