Comments: There's Something About Miriam (Update)

You seem quite interested in this one. I like how she had absolutely no personality and her three questions were:

1) Do you like kids
2) Do you like animals
3) What do you think about me?

The company got what it deserves for failing to have the plaintiffs sign air-tight disclaimers prior to filming them. I don't know about the contractual relationship between these parties, but if the plaintiffs were monetarily compensated and signed a completely and total disclaimer, the company would likely not have been dragged (no pun intended) through this litigation. Of course, this assumes that English law is close enough to US law to allow disclaimers in such circumstances to be enforced.

On the other hand, I seriously wonder whether the company really bears any liability for misrepresenting the sex of a third person. Before I get to the disclaimer issue, I would want to know what theory they would proceed under, and whether there really are any analogous cases out there.
